Formed in 1850, Royal Liver Assurance manages Royal Liver policies on behalf of customers.

It is a multi-billion pound operation and as an Incorporated Friendly Society, it is owned by policyholders – or members – rather than shareholders.

Royal Liver Assurance looks after around 3.4 million policies for almost two million members throughout the UK and Republic of Ireland and has £3.7 billion in assets under management.
