Royal Liver Group Portal

Today, over 150 years since Royal Liver was established, the Society still provides a first class service to thousands of families in the UK and Ireland.

As a mutual friendly society, Royal Liver has no shareholders. It exists for the benefit of its members on behalf of which it now manages over 5 million policies.

To ensure that members are represented and have a say in how the business is managed, Royal Liver Assurance operates a delegation system. This system was first introduced in 1886 and today some 230 or so elected delegates from all over the UK and Ireland act as the sole representative body of the Society.

Royal Liver Assurance Limited is an Incorporated Friendly Society, Register No. of Society 35 Coll. It is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority in the UK (Registration No. 110005) and adheres to the Codes of Conduct issued by the Financial Regulator in Ireland.
