Royal Liver Group

Bill was appointed Assistant Secretary of Royal Liver Assurance in May 1999 and became Group Secretary in May 2003. He joined Royal Liver in 1974, holding a number of managerial positions before becoming Secretarial Manager in 1995.

He is Secretary of all Royal Liver Subsidiary Companies and its Trustee Companies. Bill is also a Non-Executive Director of the Independent Order of Oddfellows, past President of the Insurance Institute of Liverpool, former Chairman of the Corporate Secretaries Network of the Association of Financial Mutuals and a former member of the Legislation Sub-Committee of the Association of Financial Mutuals.

Bill was appointed as Interim Chief Executive on 1st January 2010.
